shares how Intermittent Fasting (IF) has made a huge difference to Kristi in the last couple of months, when nothing else was working. I’ll send out a longer post soon with more details on exactly how to do IF.

Some highlights:

  • Eating a ton of small meals in the day, and never giving your system a break, keeps you in FAT SAVING mode. It’s important to take time off from eating so your body can do cleanup and repairs.

  • Intermittent Fasting lets your insulin levels drop and your stomach empty so that you are more likely to go into FAT BURNING mode.

  • Kristi used an app to get started with Intermittent Fasting, which you can find here: Simple

  • Skipping breakfast and avoiding snacks after supper is the easiest way for most people to create a 16-hour calorie-free window.

  • Eating more protein or going keto will reduce cravings and make it easier to do IF.

  • Activity is important! Move more during the day. IF alone won’t help you as much as it will if you’re getting in steps or workouts.

  • If you are new to IF and are having hunger problems, try a hot cup of unsweetened herbal tea or black coffee. Lemon water can also help.
