Great piece, Tim! I love the idea of incorporating photography, as walking is a great time for deep and careful observation. My walking route varies in terms of aesthetics, sometimes it's quite beautiful, but mostly it's full of litter!

I've seen my share of litter as well! I don't usually take pictures of it, though.

I find walking to be one of the easiest ways to come up with writing ideas. I always come back chock-full of them.

I’ve started walking more recently, to and from my coworking office 3x a week and then around the park other days. I feel the benefits! Great post.

I’m in! Perfect timing for me. I finished radiation treatments last week and desperately need to start exercising again—but I hadn’t found the willpower to actually get going. (I haven’t moved more than necessary for months.)

I’m intrigued by the photo scavenger hunt! :)

I blame the cat. And the weather. Our gravel road is muddy and squishy and probably icy and also today is the Blue Jays home opener so I'll be watching that. With a cat on my lap.

On crap weather days, I do indoor walking workouts. There are thousands of them on YouTube for free! And they're more fun than just walking on the spot 😁

Lovely article. Working from home makes it so easy to stay seated for hours. I try to move every hour, but some days just slip by. This is a great reminder—time to step up and walk even more! Thank you, Tim.

I'm down!! I'm out walking every day anyway but challenges will make it more interesting. I'm really trying to stay regular with my YouTube indoor workouts as well, at least 4x a week.
