Hey, thanks for the mention! I'm a HUGE fan of training rucks. I try to get in 2-3 per week. And yes, the other day a landscaping guy asked if I needed help because he thought I was homeless! 😆
This was very informative. Seems I have been rucking for al while without knowing it. One does need a bottle or 2 of water, some snacks and a camera when you want to go on a walk and take pictures. Taking the stairs adds to the exercise. Ask me how I know!
Oh. My. God. This is brilliant for me!! I walk my dog twice a day, at least an hour on the mid-day walk. This would be perfect for me!! Especially since I gained 20 pounds from my knee injury last summer and haven't taken it off yet. Such a great idea Tim!! Thank you!
I didn't know about this! I walk regularly, now I know I can increase the exercise by wearing my backpack with stuff in it. Thank you for this. I shall try it tomorrow.
I love rucking. Every day I whack on a heavy backpack to walk my dogs in the morning and at night. It's such a simple way to get great cardio and strength gains, thanks for writing about it.

That's a good one! I guess people probably thought I was homeless wandering up and down downtown Kamloops, BC with a pack too.
This is brilliant. I have to say I have never heard of rucking. I may give this a try!
Let me know how it goes! It’s a good excuse to get out and move around.
I will definitely do
Love this! Going to share with my son!
That’s great! Let me know if either of you give it a try.
want to be a runner myself, but I make a better hiker.

Great work in getting your workouts in without even knowing! Thanks for your comment
What? I need to put something in the backpack? Bugger that ;)
Seriously, thanks. I am a runner, but recent health issues have made me return to walking. This will help me again. Thank you! :)
The reason I started rucking was so I could get more aerobic training without running every day. It sure is easier on the joints and feet
I can't wait to try this. Rucking is news to me, and right up my alley...
Let me know how it goes!
Accidentally rucked the whole weekend while on a short city trip! Fricken ripped right now (and exhausted).
An accidental ruck still counts!

It builds a lot of core and back strength. Just don’t overdo it at first!
Luckily I'm not I to overdoing anything lol. I don't like a life of exertion 😁
Haha! Wise

It’s a simple change to make to your walks to get a ton of extra core exercise in. Hope it works for you
I like rucking as well! Nice post, Tim, and the city rucking idea is very practical.
That’s the biggest advantage, it’s so accessible for everyone
