You don’t know until you try it. Fasting can be very beneficial for a lot of things, not just weight loss.

Kristi, I have a question about your migraines..was there a specific food that you ate regularly (snack) that you stopped eating when you started to fast. Like Tim said, the migraines could have been food related.

I've never been able to pinpoint a food, to be honest. My most common snack was potato chips though, and I've completely cut those out. But I've had migraines for 25+ years. They only got worse in the last 5 or so.

I didn't knock on wood hard enough last night though, because I woke up with a headache today lol.

That’s too bad. Was it a full- on migraine?

If I had left it untreated it would've been.

I love this. As a physician, IF was the only method that sustainably reversed my insulin resistance for over a year now. Reading "Fast Like A Girl" was life changing.

I was able to lose weight, reduce cravings and brain fog and reduce belly fat. I now share its benefits to whomever will listen!

I personally also drink a special yerba mate blend while fasting to prevent from snacking (like now while seeing patients) and start my meals with a fiber blend to prevent the glucose and eventual insulin spike.

It has 10x my fasting benefits.

I've not heard of that book but it sounds interesting. I've also never heard of yerba (rookie here 😁) I'm going to Google that.

Thank you for the tips! I use green tea sometimes, will have to give your suggestions a try.
