Don't Just Eat What They Shove in Your Face!
The Rebel Diet - Intentional Eating. Choose what's best for you.
Intentional eating - choosing what, how, and when to eat - is an act of rebellion. Because THEY don’t want you to do that, they want you to stay in your lane and spend money on factory-produced products that cost them as little as possible to crank out. They want to reduce your choices down to one, so you have no choice but to buy their stuff.
They want you to eat and eat and eat, preferably multiple times a day, as many snacks as you can hold, even if it kills you.
Do you trust corporations, the government, and Richie Riches to take care of you?
I don’t.
I trust them to take care of themselves. That means making money and controlling the actions of those who can be controlled. Usually, we bend over and take what they give us, including the food they prepare for us.
Modern cookery has turned into:
Ordering food that gets delivered to our door
Eating stuff out of a box or sealed packet that could sit on a shelf for 100 years
Chemically flavored carbohydrates that bugs won’t even touch
Mass-produced ingredients at the lowest cost
Engineered to be so tasty that you can’t say no
Looking after YOU is not part of the plan. They don’t care about your long-term goals. They don’t care if their mass-produced, cheap “food” does the following:
It makes you sick with diseases over decades with your willing lack of discernment.
It has long-term effects on your children.
It strip-mines the environment.
It causes depression, obesity, acne, and virtually every other modern ailment.
The Standard American Diet is SAD. And it’s also the diet of those who have fallen for the biggest con in history.
They Keep You Busy While They Clean Out Your Wallet
Of all the conspiracy theories going around, no one notices the biggest one: Frankenfood. By that, I mean ultra-processed substances with all of the natural fiber stripped out, most of the vitamins bleached out, and many nutrients removed or mangled beyond recognition.
White flour, vegetable and seed oils, pre-cooked rice, sugar, and high-fructose corn syrup are some of the biggest offenders.
Board Meeting:
“Well, gentlemen, our plan is working. Just like we planned. Ha ha ha ha!”
“Yes, yes! Spread more political nonsense to distract them, Clarence. Can you find more absolute fools to run for office, so no one has a moment to consider their lives?”
“Absolutely, Bill. And I hope you can cause more mayhem with those UFO sightings and such.”
“Certainly, Clarence. By the way, John, how is that war you started in the Middle East going?”
“Not as well as the climate change campaign! Our girl Greta has them so stirred up that they are pounding back the cheeseburgers!””
“All right, all right. Now, down to business. How much money have we sucked out of the country with our latest Cheesie Poof and Diet Choke ads?”
There’s only one thing for it. Stop doing what they tell you. Think about what you put in your mouth. Make choices. Eat what’s healthy, not what’s conveniently placed in front of you by your slave masters.
Rebel. Stop doing what they want you to, just because it’s easy and convenient.
Switch to the Rebel Diet.
What’s the Rebel Diet?
It’s so simple, really. It isn’t a weight loss program or anything like that, not actually a “diet.”
It’s food that you prepare yourself or choose for yourself. It’s whole ingredients made into REAL food.
It doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing decision, either. You can choose to eat pizza and burgers when you want. I hope you can make informed decisions instead of just submitting to the wants and desires of corporations.
What do they want you to eat?
Vegetable and seed oils. It’s in almost all mass produced food, and it is not good for you.
Sugar. Especially High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Snacks made from beige carbohydrate glop squeezed out of a factory nipple into various shapes like tiny fish, crackers, chips, and such, and then seasoned with chemicals that have names like benzophenone, ethyl acrylate, eugenol methyl ether, myrcene, pulegone, pyridine, and styrene.
Fast food designed to be as addictive as street drugs, and makes you more likely to binge on all kinds of junk because your neural pathways get hijacked.
How to rebel:
Have a side salad instead of fries. Screw you, corporations!
Buy fruit instead of chocolate and chips. Pack an apple with your lunch. Take that, Big Brother!
Meal prep on Sunday and make a batch of food that you can divide into portions to eat all week, so you will have healthy meals handy and won’t order takeout. That’ll show the system what for!
Choose healthy fats to cook with, like olive oil, butter, or avocado oil. Throw away the canola, soybean, cottonseed, corn oil, and sunflower oil. Tell big business they can stick that unhealthy oil where the sunflower doesn’t shine.
Eat supper for breakfast and get in a high-protein meal instead of a bowl of shitty factory cereal. Who told you that certain foods are only for one time of the day?
Grow your own food (Gasp! Can that even be done?!?)
Shop locally from farmers and ranchers.
Eat what’s healthy, not what’s conveniently placed in front of you by your slave masters.
Well, what are you going to do?
Are you going to take this lying down, and let them feed you garbage?
Let me know what you’re going to do to rebel this week. Do you have any plans to do some gardening? Could you shop at farmer’s markets? Are you thinking about meal prepping or cooking at home a few times this month? You rebel!
Choosing what is best for you means educating yourself on the food you eat. Something that many are not willing to do and rely on what they are being told. Where did the critical thinking go? When did we all rely on what Big Food companies market to us? Where does the food come from, read labels, know what to avoid and know what to add. When we have more information, then we can make a more educated choice and what is best for you!
I’m on the FODmap diet and had to prepare my own food to bring to my son’s birthday dinner tonight because I can’t eat what everyone else is eating. It’s extra work but totally worth it to keep myself healthy.
