People love to shop for enlightenment in the spiritual supermarket, complete with all the trappings and glitter, and none of the substance. Years ago, when I went to Sedona, it was the first time I had seen spirituality so commercialized. It looked like a Gatlinburg for crystal lovers. The saturation of all of that new-age stuff was such a turn off (like too much sugar), I decided to focus on the beautiful surroundings instead.
