I have a friend who does fasts, usually 7-11 days. Me - never! Only for my colonoscopy. Would I do an actual fast... I don't know, but you've inspired me to start thinking about it. GO YOU for going all in and doing it for 2 whole weeks. Impressive.
Thanks Melissa! Iβm doing alternate day fasting from May 11 until June 11 to see if I can get my knee to finish healing and get close to 100%. Iβll write about that next month
Admirable, Tim. I heard about it but didn't know much. I wonder, would one week be sufficient? Two weeks seems a long time to me, would half that time still result in positive feedback?
Hi Claudette, I think it depends on your goals and individual situation. Instead of two weeks, an alternative might be several shorter fasts. According to the research, a lot of the benefits start kicking in after 36 or 48 hours. But from what I understand, the deep healing might require at least 72 hrs with no food.

Weight loss of course increases with time.
