Here’s another little fact about moving your body. It is actually a good workout to walk outside when it is cold..I know sounds crazy. But our heart is actually working harder to keep our body warm and move at the same time. So bundle up and get outside for a 30 minutes walk and it will be like you walked for an hour.

Great news about using more energy when the walk is cold.

At my day job, we have a bathroom trailer, about 180 yards from the office. I've gone to the bathroom 6 times so far today, and it's -21 and blizzarding! I don't really worry about bundling up though. I just don't waste any time.

Love this Danni! I go on the trail 45+ minutes every morning, no matter the weather (down to -5 windchill). It really feels amazing once you get past the first step of cold! It's a matter of layers and commitment.

There is a limit. I find there’s no fun to be had below -30 C with wind. But it can be quite enjoyable when it’s β€œonly” -10 C

I dunno about anyone else, but I fought 14 clowns by noon today πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

All so true though. Even in cold ass winter. It's -18 today, so I drove to the hardware store to take my dog for a walk. I love stores that allow dogs!

The clowns keep coming, so there’s always a chance to burn off some energy if you like taking them on πŸ˜‚

I saw someone walking their emotional support ferret at the Red Deer Home Depot. And they were talking to it like it was a toddler. β€œNo, don’t touch that, get back here! Come on, dear. Get off of the display. If you’re good you get a treat!”

Stop it. Are you serious?? I can’t imagine if my dog ran into a ferret at Rona πŸ˜†πŸ˜† One of them might not get out alive.

I was a little bit annoyed to see a ferret there . It was acting pretty crazy πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
